III - Other guided hikes

Other accompanied hikes are available at ESF Lélex Crozet and at Mijoux tourist office.

IV - Hiking on your own

You can also practice snowshoeing on your own but we recomend to buy a map or download the sheets below. If you hike in La Vattay or Menthières, you will have to pay the day access (5,20€/adult and 4,20€/child) or the week access (20€/person) which allow you to hike also in the Jura and Doubs trails. Everywhere else in the resort, the access is free.

Sheets with built-hiking map are freely available at the Tourist Office and resume the many marked trails for snowshoeing snow trails. Do you want to download it ? Click here !

Hiking and common sense :
> I respect protected or restricted areas staying in marked paths

> I leave my dog at home
> I do not follow animals footprints. The disturbance could kill them
> I put my waste in my backpack

V - Pedestrians

In the villages of Mijoux and Lélex, a trail is marked and groomed for the practice of walking on snow.

Pedestrians or snowshoers can also take the cablecar to get to the altitude trails.
