Itinerant Hiking

From the Monts Jura summits you have splendid panoramic views of the Leman Lake, Geneva basin and the Alps. The hiker is at just the right altitude for admiring the peaks more than 4000 m. high and the 400 km length of the Alpine ranges, from the Oberland to the Southern Alps, via the Mont Blanc range!

Typical landscapes of Jura, varied protected fauna and flora... You will know all about them after doing the hikes described below.

Three unaccompanied itinerant hikings are suggested:

2 days' hike "le Balcon du Léman" including one night in a mountain "refuge"
4 days' hike "le Tour de la Valserine" including accomodation. Accomodation in traditional Mongolian tent possible.
6 days' hike "Patrimoine et Savoirs-faire du Haut-Jura" including 5 night accomodation in various places, full board, and visit of a local attraction during each leg of the trip. Accomodation in traditional Mongolian tent possible.
