The snowshoes marked trails 

From the snowy villages of the resort and the top of the lifts, snowshoers will find some marked and maintained paths.

It has been created for the natural beauty of the landscape, the security of the walkers and the respect of fragile wildlife that hibernates in the woods and are watched by the Réserve Naturelle de la Haute Chaîne du Jura.

Some spaces are forbiden during the winter, in order to protect the calmness that wildlife needs ; The walkers can use the paths, without going out of it, which offers to them the privilege to enter those preserved spaces. On the summits, except in the forest, walkers can go freely under their own responsability. 

Detailed snowshoe marked paths :

Detailed maps are given at the Tourist Offices of Lélex and Mijoux, and also at each desks of the resort.

Walkers can go for free except in La Vattay where they have to pay : 3,50 € / adult et 3 € / child less than 16 years old.

Pedestrian paths

In Mijoux and in Menthières , a round path is prepared for simply walkers who want to have a great time in the nature, without any equipment.

Guided snowshoe hikings

Convivial guided snowshoe hikings are organised all the winter long by the Accompagnateurs de la Haute Chaîne du Jura : Didier, Pierre and Francis. They signed the welcoming quality plan of the resort.
