Mijoux is a village nestled in a green valley. At the first glance, you will be stopped by the mural frescos reflecting the formerly artworks.
If you stay a bit more, you will discover the richness of its past, a church just at the border of the Jura and inhabitants willing to tell you their history : the lapidary's work on winter nearby a fire, the manufacture of cheeses and wooden made objects.
In the summer, the hiking trails allows you to discover the flora and fauna preserved in the natural reserve of the High Jura. Play golf, alpine coaster or adventure tracks complete agreably your “natural” stay.
On winter, the whiteness laying over the village is an invitation to the walk. Unless you prefer to go skiing from the village, either downhill or cross-country before enjoying a Comtoise fondue at the corner of a fire…
