The Jura is a paradise for cross-country skiing and Monts Jura does not let tradition down. Monts Jura means 140 km of trails in the Valserine valley and on La Vattay plateau, on which you can practise skating or alternative steps at your leisure.

La Vattay - La Valserine

La Vattay is an area which is known world-wide for the quality and the variety of its trails which are used in International competitions. Trails - from green to black - are all laid out for classic and skating styles for skiing suitable for all levels.

La Valserine, for more relaxed, more "discovery"-type skiing with trails which meander alongside the river.

Menthières : 2 trails = 10 km, beginners level, day adult : 3.50 €, day child : 3.00 €.

Opening of La Vattay - La Valserine as soon as snow and weather conditions allow it.

The seasonnal pass "Massif du Jura" is valid in Switzerland and gives a 50% discount on daily passes in other French areas (Haute Savoie, Savoie, Vercors...).
